Company Property
You will be provided with all the equipment necessary to carry out your job. Please act to prevent damage, loss or undue deterioration arising from lack of care and do everything possible to protect the property and in general treat company assets as you would your own personal property. For example, ensure
that you lock away confidential papers at the end of the day when you are in
the office, don't leave company property unattended in public places, don't
forget to turn off all PCs and other equipment or machinery, and in general
treat company assets as you would your own personal property.
We are insured for items of company property. We reserve the right to charge you the insurance excess and any expenses incurred if a claim is made where you have not taken due care and attention in protecting such property. For example, if assets are stolen without evidence of forcible entry, our insurers are likely to refuse cover and if you are deemed to have been negligent in leaving such assets exposed to theft, then we may hold you financially liable.
